Get Your Game On at Career Services Tailgate Party! FRIDAY!

Are you as ready for football season to start as I am? Having grown up in Blacksburg, as I started to walk, I learned the Old Hokie cheer and went to football games with my family. Way back then, Hokies didn't tailgate like they do now. To help you get your game face on for our first game on Saturday, come play some tailgate games with us this Friday from 10am - 3pm in the Smith Career Center.

Never played tailgate games before? Here is a sampling of some of the games you'll be able to try your hand at on Friday in Career Services:

Practice your frisbee throwing prowess playing "Pole-ish"

Corn Hole - win a ticket if the bean bag lands in the hole!

Ring one of the ladder rungs playing Ladder Golf:

There will be a number of other games for you to play along with free pizza, water and you can use the tickets you win at the games to try for prizes like an Apple TV, Bose Soundlink Min, Chromecast, fitbit, Kindle Fire, Sony SmartWatch, a tailgate party pack and more!

And, be sure you're decked out in your orange and maroon...it's COLLEGE COLORS DAY

See you at Smith Career Center this Friday ready to play!
